Growing up, I’ve always had a desire to create.
When I was young, I loved to draw and in high school it was music. During college, I went to school for graphic design. It wasn’t until after college that I found a medium I truly fell in love with; photography. What I love the most about photography isn’t that it’s a chance to make art, but that it’s a chance to create a memory that will live on for decades.
This is where documenting weddings stepped in. I found it as an opportunity to have my work be something more than a pretty picture. Instead, it can be a time capsule. I loved that. Documenting all of these incredibly fleeting moments for people in love became a passion. A passion that still burns bright, even after a decade in the field.
The longer I do this, the more apparent it becomes to create work that is timeless. That overused word still rings true to me and it’s a word I deeply want to be associated with my work. My desire is to remind you of the sights, smells, and feelings that surrounded you. We’ll get rid of the trends and capture the real. We’ll create a relationship that's based on collaboration and friendship. I want you to relive all of your favorite memories with the simple glance of a print.
I married my best friend which was easily the best decision I’ve ever made. We have two boys who routinely show me how our ability to love is forever growing.
I’m excited to hear your story, discuss your vision, and share with you my passion for storytelling.
